AI Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: August 12, 2026
AI features in 55 Degrees apps are designed to help users understand product information, explore insights, and receive product, workflow, or process-related guidance.
These features support human decision-making. They do not replace professional expertise or human judgment.
Who this policy is for
This policy applies to anyone using AI-enabled functionality in a 55 Degrees product or service, including AI support, AI-generated insights, and AI-based coaching.
“AI-based coaching” means guidance about products, workflows, agile practices, or processes. It does not include legal, medical, financial, employment, or other professional advice.
Some AI features in our Atlassian Marketplace apps are powered by Atlassian Rovo. Users of those features must also follow the Atlassian Acceptable Use Policy.

Use AI responsibly
The level of review should be appropriate to the intended use and the potential consequences of an incorrect output. Always review AI-generated information before using it to make an important decision, presenting it as factual, sharing it with others, or taking action based on it.
When using an AI feature:
- Provide only information that you are authorized to use
- Follow your organization’s policies and applicable laws
- Check outputs against source data, product documentation, or appropriate expertise
- Consider whether the output is complete, accurate, and suitable for its intended purpose
- Apply human judgment before making decisions or taking action based on AI-generated information
Prohibited uses
Do not use our AI features to:
- Break the law, violate another person’s rights, or process information you are not authorized to use

Protect information
AI features may process information that you enter and information made available to the feature through the product. Depending on the feature, this may include support questions, product configuration, statistical information, or work-item data.
You may use customer data that the feature is designed to process and that you are authorized to provide. However, do not add unnecessary sensitive information to prompts. In particular, avoid entering:
- Passwords, authentication tokens, API keys, or other credentials
- Payment-card or financial-account information
- Government identification numbers
- Health, biometric, or other highly sensitive personal data
- Personal data relating to children under 13 or under the applicable age of digital consent
- Information you are not authorized to access, process, or share
55 Degrees does not use customer data to train its own AI models.
Our AI support feature is provided using Product Fruits’ Elvin Copilot. Product Fruits states that it does not use customer data processed through Elvin to train AI models. See Elvin Overview.
For features powered by Atlassian Rovo, Atlassian states that customer inputs and outputs are not used by Atlassian or its AI providers to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. See Rovo and Atlassian Intelligence customer data and AI model training.
Further information about data processing and subprocessors is available in our Privacy Statement, the Data Protection Addendum included in the applicable Customer Agreement, and our Sub-Processors and Suppliers list.
Check AI-generated outputs
Although our AI features are designed to provide useful and relevant information, AI-generated responses can be incomplete, incorrect, outdated, biased, or misleading. A response may contain errors even when it sounds confident or well-written.
Keep in mind that:
- Summaries may omit important context
- Suggestions may not reflect the full circumstances of your organization
- Outputs should be checked against relevant source information
- Important decisions should always involve appropriate human review
- AI output should not be treated as professional advice or an authoritative conclusion
You remain responsible for deciding whether an AI-generated output is appropriate for your intended use.
Report a concern
If you encounter a harmful, inappropriate, or unexpected response, please contact 55 Degrees Support.
If you believe an AI feature is being misused or presents a security concern, contact security@55degrees.se.
When reporting a concern, avoid sending passwords, credentials, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Enforcement
55 Degrees may take reasonable action in response to suspected violations of this policy, including restricting or suspending access to affected AI features.
Review cadence
This policy is reviewed at least annually and updated when needed to reflect changes in our AI features, practices, or applicable requirements.
