For years, ActionableAgile® Analytics has helped teams improve predictability, uncover delivery risks, and make better decisions using flow metrics and probabilistic forecasting.

Teams around the world rely on ActionableAgile® Analytics to answer critical questions about delivery performance:

  • How long will this work actually take?
  • Where is work slowing down?
  • When will this project be done?

But while access to delivery data has improved, understanding what that data is telling us can still be challenging.

The insights are often there. Finding them, interpreting them, and turning them into meaningful action can take time, experience, and expertise.

What if getting answers from your delivery data was as simple as asking a question?

Meet ADA (Actionable Delivery Analyst), our AI-powered delivery and flow analyst, built on Atlassian Rovo and integrated directly into ActionableAgile® Analytics for Jira Cloud.

ADA helps teams uncover insights from their delivery data through simple conversations, making it easier than ever to understand what's happening in their system, identify potential risks, and discover opportunities for improvement.

More importantly, ADA represents the beginning of our AI journey, bringing together delivery data, flow-based expertise, and artificial intelligence to help teams make better decisions with greater confidence.

Why We Built ADA

One of the most common challenges we hear from teams is not a lack of data.

It's knowing what the data is trying to tell them.

Many organizations already have dashboards, reports, and metrics available. Yet delivery leaders, Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, Product Managers, and team members still spend significant time trying to answer questions such as:

  • Why is work taking longer than usual?
  • What changed in our delivery performance?
  • Which work items should we pay attention to?
  • Are we seeing signs of a bottleneck?
  • What does this chart actually mean?
  • How can we improve our flow?

The answers often exist within the data.

Finding them can take time. ADA was built to help bridge that gap.

Instead of spending time searching through reports and interpreting charts, teams can simply ask questions and receive contextual answers based on their data.

Powered by Atlassian Rovo

ADA is built using Atlassian Rovo, Atlassian's AI platform designed to help teams find information, gain insights, and make better decisions.

By combining the power of Rovo with ActionableAgile® Analytics, we're making delivery intelligence more accessible to everyone, not just flow metrics experts.

Teams can interact with their delivery data using natural language and receive meaningful insights without needing deep analytical expertise.

The result is faster understanding, quicker decision-making, and more productive conversations about delivery performance.

Ask Questions. Get Answers.

ADA is designed to work the way teams naturally think.

Instead of navigating multiple reports, users can simply ask questions such as:

  • Why is work taking longer than usual?
  • Which items are currently at risk?
  • Are we seeing signs of a bottleneck?
  • How can we improve our flow?
  • What does this Cycle Time Scatterplot tell us?
  • When are we likely to complete these items?

ADA analyzes the available delivery data and helps explain what it sees, providing insights that support better decision-making.

One way to think about ADA is as a Flow and Delivery Assistant, who's available whenever you need one.

Whether you're preparing for a:

  • Stand-up
  • Retrospective
  • Delivery review
  • Planning session
  • Leadership update

ADA can help teams quickly understand what's happening and identify opportunities for improvement.

Rather than waiting for an expert to interpret the data, teams can start meaningful conversations immediately.

Built on Proven Flow Principles

What makes ADA different is that it isn't simply summarizing data.

ADA is grounded in the same flow-based principles that have guided ActionableAgile® Analytics for years. It was built using a knowledge base derived from the work and books of Daniel Vacanti, whose flow-based approaches have helped organizations around the world improve predictability, reduce delivery risk, and make better delivery decisions.

The agent is designed to help teams better understand concepts such as:

  • Flow Efficiency
  • Work in Progress (WIP)
  • Throughput
  • Cycle Time
  • Aging Work
  • Delivery Predictability
  • Probabilistic Forecasting

This means ADA doesn't just provide observations. It helps connect those observations to proven delivery practices and flow-based thinking.

By combining your delivery data with years of proven flow-based expertise, ADA helps teams move beyond reporting and toward deeper understanding, better conversations, and more informed decision-making.

Making Delivery Intelligence More Accessible

One of our goals with ADA is to make delivery insights accessible to more people across the organization.

Not everyone using ActionableAgile® Analytics is a flow metrics expert. Many organizations want delivery leaders, managers, stakeholders, and teams to participate in conversations about delivery performance.

ADA lowers the barrier to entry by making it easier to explore data, understand trends, and ask questions in a natural way.

The result is more informed, data-driven conversations across teams and leadership groups.

Our AI Journey Starts Here

ADA represents an exciting milestone for 55 Degrees.

It is our first AI-powered capability and an important step toward helping teams interact with delivery intelligence in entirely new ways.

We're incredibly excited about what becomes possible when artificial intelligence is combined with delivery data, flow metrics, forecasting, and proven flow-based thinking.

This launch is only the beginning.

As we continue learning from customer feedback and real-world usage, we'll continue exploring new ways AI can help teams improve visibility, make better decisions, and deliver with greater confidence.
